Thanks for visiting my site. My goal is to achieve the sense of a place and the feeling you get when you're in nature, while still presenting my work as a painting, not a photograph. When I get it right, it feels like I’m in the place while I’m painting it.

I'm trained by my mother and grandfather, both artists, plus I’ve taken some art classes over the years. I often paint in the evening after my day job as a primary care doctor in Portland Oregon.
